In 2002 I started a chat group on MSN for anyone that brought a dog off us. This group became so popular we moved from MSN so a site where everyone could share their photos easier, also we got less virus's as MSN seemed to be a death trap for virus's in computers, so we moved to Flicker. The site is private so you can not do a search and find it, its a personal site run by Rachel for everyone that has a Silvestre Dog. This site exists so that everyone can ask me questions and get a daily answer. If not from me from someone else. Because everyone has gone through what you are about too, owning a puppy! Because the site became so popular I had to enlist the help of a few Silvestre doggy owners to be assistant managers. We have Ann Miller who is a wealth of information on Agility, working, and the barf diet. Dawn who is a nurse and is our addictive user who gives good sound sensible advice as well as Lisa who owns two Weimaraners, so she has been there, got the T Shirt, DVD and knows the ups and downs of owning a dog. I put photos on here all the time which never go onto our main website. Our family grew and grew and we all decided how nice it would be to meet up every now and then and have picnics, and a walk. Now we have regular outings and everyone on the group arranges these outings. I can not get to every outing but I sure enjoy seeing the photos. Many friendships have been formed through our chat group and people are in contact off the group and going for weekly walks too. I think you will find the group a friendly happy place to visit. Its not just Silvestre brought dogs who are now on this group. But also to people who have brought a puppy from another breeder but our dog is the stud dog. This group has helped some owners which I am sure would of put their dogs into rescue with out the support we all gave them. I am so happy that I set this up that I would recommend it to any breeder. Not only do you get to help owners who would never ring you up because they feel embarrassed to ask, but we also get to see many photos of the dogs. I do find that the most regular users are from puppy to 2 years then we hardly hear from people as its at this stage of growing that dogs need the most support. So you could say its our own personal dog club the "Silvestre Group Dog Club". All I can say if you buy a Silvestre dog is "WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!"
