Chilli
was named by Rachel because she always wanted a
red dog called Chilli as in Chilli Pepper.
Chilli came into our lives in 2009. His father
is the famous imported Australian dog Hungargunn
Bear Itn Mind who is the CC title holder in the
UK and also an Australian champion. He
also won best in show at Crufts 2010.
Chilli soon won our hearts and I do not think I have ever know a dog that
actually loves as much as he does. He
wraps his legs around your neck and puts his
head on my shoulder and snuggles in. He
kisses, and is one dopey dog. When he wins
at a champ show he jumps on his back legs up and
down as if he is very clever. It is almost
as if he knows. He is always rewarded with
love if he wins or not because we know the best
dog goes home with us every time.
You
know what? I love him.! We all love him.
He is a great family dog. Temperament is just
out of this world. You would never be
dissapointed.
Chilli
is a pet dog first and foremost and his nature
is fabulous. He goes on every holiday with
us, and is an easy dog to take anywhere.
He does not have a nasty bone in his body.
He is kind. He may be a show dog but to us
Chilli is more importantly the best pet dog in
the world and that's what we adore about him.
To us showing is not everything in this world,
its a nice hobby and thats it.
Chill
has won a lot of places in dog shows, and he
also has a Reserve Challenge Certificate, and he
won his stud book number. He also won a
best in show at 13 months old over a two day
show and 956 dogs entered. He has won
first places to fifth place in classes we have
entered him into. He won second place at
Crufts 2010 in his junior class and then 4th
place in good citizen class. He has had
some fantastic write ups from judges.
Chilli
is a proven stud dog, having sired two litters
so far to date. We are not holding him at
open stud for just anyone to use him though. He
is available for our own use or for friends, or
people we know will give the puppies a good
life. We know so many breeders out there
are not what we would want to promote the use of
our stud dog. Ok you would say how odd,
why wont she let him be used by anyone.
Simple fact is we take pride in our puppies, and
not everyone else does.
Chilli
has done gundog training and has retrieved game.
He is good at blind retrieves, memory retrieves,
and he is good bringing back dummy. He swims
well and retrieves from deep water. He has
brains as well as beauty. My lack of time
has not pushed him further.
Chilli
is the kindest dog in the world and we adore
him. You can find him every night on Rachel's
bed having cuddles. He does know that he
has to go down to his bed in the kitchen however
and never complains. He is good with
children and dogs. He is unsure of
screaming 2 year olds though as he is not used
to this. But he soon is ok. He is great
with cats, kittens. Chickens, ducks and geese.
He knows what he can retrieve and can not lol.
Chilli
will be with us until the day he dies which we
dread. He would never be replaceable ever.
But by then hopefully we will have a Chilli son
with us. To carry on his line.
