I had to cut our news page in half as it was getting large and with too many photos will not down load the page properly.

Great News that Silvestre Harleys Chaser AW (B) has just gained his new title in agility.  Once claimed for he will be known as Silvestre Harleys Chaser AW (S) as he has won his silver award.

To get this award a dog has to gain 400 points. A clear round is worth either 1 or 2 points and a win is worth 20 or 10 points then down to 11 or 1 point for 10th place depending upon whether it is an agility round or a jumping round. So as you can see 400 points is either a lot of clear rounds or quite a few top ten places. Harley has a mixture of both. Top ten places are hard to come by when you are often competing in classes in excess of 200 dogs at the lower grades and probably about 50 dogs in the higher grades but of course 50 better dogs over harder courses. Also if there are only 50 dogs in a class they will only place to 5th and you can only claim points if you have won a rosette.

Stanley went to WELKS Championship show on Friday 23rd April and won 5th place limit out of a strong class.  We were so thrilled.  Also Chilli the Vizsla went too and won 3rd place in puppy dog. 

Lorn the Vizsla went too and had a great time playing with Chilli and Stan the man.

We went to the East Anglian Game Fair and had a fun time with Barbara and Danny with Seamus the Vizsla.  Always great to catch up with them. The band was deafening in the bar!  But the dogs sat, listening.  Also bumped into HArry the Weimaraner puppy who came out of Stan and Beaus last litter, what a handsome boy he is. 

Lorn the Vizsla won her class at Crystal Palace.

Luna the Weim pup won bp and BOB at Crystal Palace.

29th March

More news in that Silvestre Pink Ladies won best puppy, and best of breed at a show. Although on her own. She still enjoyed her day out.Tunbridge Wells. Anthony Tagg judge.   She is pictured right.  This lovely young lady is a Silvestre Shotokan daughter and Silvestre Timescape.  Her mother comes from the Candaian Champion Waltz State Fair V Silvesmith.  We hope to breed her mother again in 2011.

Skye had her puppies, all doing well. Photo right of photos a day old. I will be contacting everyone today on our waiting list.  Mother and babies doing well :-)

19th March

Photo right of Silvestre Book of Secrets, taken on the 18th March at Oxborough Ringcraft.  My friend Angela stood Willow for me to see how she is coming along and I have to say we are really pleased.  She is just 6 months and a Darcy x Woody daughter.  She is the spitting image of her mother Darcy yet has Woody's pale coat colour.  I have just booked her first show.

Outing around the 18th April at the South Downs Area once again organized by Leo Ferenc.  for anyone that owns a Silvestre dog please contact Rachel for full details.  Rachel and Abbie will be attending this outing.

Skye is close to having her babies now, she is growing larger by the day.

14h March It was a day for the BOYS!

Great results Crufts this year Chilli our Hungarian Vizsla ( who is son of the BEST IN SHOW WINNER OF CRUFTS 2010 (SH.CH.AUST.CH.HUNGARGUNN BEAR ITN MIND) won second place in Puppy class and 4th with the big boys in Good Citizen Class.  We were all so pleased, and a thanks to our friends who shared in our happy day with us too.

Silvestre Shotokan our Weimaraner also a 4th in Limit dog of a strong class, and a 4th in Good Citizen Class.  Our beautiful boy!  We had tons of comments from spectator who time and time again told us what a lovely dog we had.

11th March

Skye our Weimaraner just keeps getting bigger by the day, she is expecting puppies on the 20th March.  I hope she glides through labour easily.  

WOW! 9 puppies born to Anglea's bitch Tia which she mated to our own Silvestre Shotokan.  7 bitches and 2 dogs.  Bitch enquires welcomed.  Just email me.

I hear from Silvestre Pink Ladies owner that her young handler has been taking her to open shows and has been placed at several, and is enjoying herself showing her young dog. I look forward to seeing you at a show.

Pictured right.  Chilli and Scarlett at the lakes, in fact all our Vizslas are great swimmers and I am going to create an album of pictures of them.

Last week I spent a lot of time in the woodlands and Lakes with the dogs, and met with Wallaroo Gundogs Angela for some water work in the Lakes.  Wallaroo Scootch had a fab time swimming like a fish, he will retrieve a dummy from deep water and his training towards gundog working tests goes onwards and upwards. 

I am changing the website again in the next month or so, work has already started in my spare time.  This will have more photos in it.

With more training for Scarlett on her stop whistle she may be entered into some gundog tests yet!!!  But we hold our breath for the day she listens.

With the fabulous sunshine and spring weather I have been out every day with the dogs in the lovely countryside.  Walking and training my dogs. 

Well done Lorn the Vizsla winning Reserve best of breed under Frank Kane at Horley Open show. Another lovely placement for the gorgeous Lorn.

I see Silvestre Harleys Chaser is 17th on the Agility board for last October.

Skye is getting bigger!  Our Weimaraner Skye is growing by the day now and we expect puppies around March 20th.  This litter will be very nice as both mum and dad are stunning dogs.  I have no more plans for Weimaraner pups this year.
