PUPPY NEWS

Amber has been mated to the Handsome Chilli puppies due August time.  Everything went just great.  Now everyone on our waiting list we will contact you via email this week.  If you do not hear from us then do contact me by email.

We are going ahead and having another Vizsla litter so new enquires please contact us as Ruby who is Ambers sister will be mated with in about 6 weeks.

Our Next Weimaraner litter will be born hopefully January 2011!!!!  Reservations for this litter will be taken Autumn time.   Silvestre Timescape who has a very interesting pedigree as her father comes from Canada with American Blood lines.  check out her page.

We are a small hobby show kennel of Weimaraners and Hungarian Vizslas.  Our aim is to produce healthy dogs of good quality, for the family home.  Dogs that are fit for function.  We will always do any health testing which is required by the Kennel club accredited breeder scheme.  Currently it is just Hip scoring.

We do not formulate a waiting list until a girl has been mated, it seems little point to take endless names down and those people may well go and find another breeder. We will keep your details if you contact us and we will email you, but we do not formulate the waiting list properly until our girl is mated.

Only a deposit taken after birth will secure you a puppy, we take this as non-refundable deposit.  We have a full list of terms available for you to see on request.

We welcome visits from would-be owners however visits are limited to those people only on our waiting list.  Due to time wasters we can not see every person that contacts me for a puppy as I would have a full time job of every hour of every week seeing strangers.

The parents of our pups will come from quality blood lines, one if not both parents will be show dogs.  To prove they are dogs which are of good construction.  Ask me if you want a dog for a particular purpose, i.e showing, working, agility as we can help you choose the right puppy.  If we do not use a stud show dog it may be in fact a great working dog. It does not have to be a show champion though as we believe their are many great dogs out there with out titles.

Our puppies are a huge part of our lives, they get all the love and affection possible.  In fact I think we probably spoil them rotten.  Because to us while we have a dog with us it is given the best of everything.

We do not inbreed our dogs.  In breeding means breeding father to daughter, mother to son. Too close and a practise which is now recognised as being unacceptable by the Kennel club who refuse to register puppies now from litters from close breeding.

Sometimes emails go into cyber space and we never get them.  So do get in touch by telephone if we have not replied to your email.

Sometimes people wait for a puppy from us for quite some time as we do not always have puppies available.  If you can wait for us, then please get in touch, let us know how quickly you are after a puppy.  We may be able to recommend someone else if we are not having a puppy for a year.

 Here are a few questions I would ask you if you called me.

Please try to answer these in an email when you send your enquiry.

 

  • Your name and address.

  • Telephone landline number and mobile.

  • Do you have any children and if yes what are there ages.

  • Do you live on your own or do you have a partner, married, civil partner ship, or living with a friend.

  • Does everyone in the home want a new puppy in the home?

  • Do you have a garden.?

  • Is your home attached to the garden or do you live in a flat?

  • Have you owned a Weimaraner or Hungarian Vizsla before?

  • If no why have you decided upon this breed?

  • Have you owned a dog before? If yes tell us what breed.

  • Do you have a dog now?

  • Have you ever trained a dog in a training class before?

  • Do you have any other animals in the home?

  • Are you at home during the day time or do you work full time?

  • If you work full time is anyone at home during the day time?

  • Would you like to see our dogs before having a puppy?

  • Please do ask me any questions you want as I am always happy to answer

 

  • Our puppies are NOT DOCKED unless done for welfare reasons such as broken tail.   Please do not call and ask us if we will dock a puppy.

  • Our puppies will have dew claws removed.

  • Our puppies are micro chipped at 7 weeks old.  Registered with Pet Log, This is included in the price of your puppy.  We do not refund money if you do not wish this to be done.

  • Our puppies are sent to new homes at around 7 weeks of age.  We do not keep puppies longer unless pre arranged before deposit is paid.

  • All deposits are non-refundable if you back out from wanting the puppy.

  • We reserve the right to return puppy deposits.

  • Our puppies come with 5 generation pedigree, KC Documents.

  • All puppies will come with a breeding endorsement on the KC Document unless pre arranged with us if brought for breeding/showing, then we omit it.  Please note we only sell bitches for breeding to well respected showing folk in the UK or abroad.

  • Our puppies will now come with an export endorsement on KC Document unless brought for breeding in other countries.

  • We will export puppies to the right homes.  Terms and conditions please apply as we have many.

  • All our puppies are sent home with 7 days supply of food in a cool bag.  We feed meat to our puppies, and we give you a diet sheet to show you how its done.

  • We send you a puppy pack either printed A4 booklet or on CD disc.  This is a comprehensive puppy guide.

  • We send you home with enough wormer for the puppy's next worming. Either Panacur or Drontal.

  • Our puppies are all bathed before leaving with a good puppy shampoo, and nails trimmed, ears cleaned.

  • We will help to re-home any dog we have bred through our website whilst it is still living with you in your home.  We will tell you first to try many other things before re-homing is suggested.

 

 

Out of courtesy towards other breeders, please do not go onto our waiting list if you have already gone on someone else's.
