Over the years we have been sent many emails, letters, texts, and have phone calls, just to tell us how pleased people are with their dogs.

The first few paragraphs are taken from our group when I asked

So how are the Silvestre Dogs doing?  Answers below.

100% happy! Copper is such a energetic, happy ging whom loves nothing better than running with his friends through the woods, chasing rabbits and cuddling up like a baby with the family in the evenings...oh and looked rather pleased with himself the other day after rolling in fox shite like the other gingers for the first time in months! thought I got him out of that...no such luck, still love him to bits though :) x Karen

Mango currently isnt happy as Caroline is hogging the fan heater rather than the other way around! Other than that yes she is a happy dog, loves nothing better than romping around Richmond park, playing chase with other dogs and pretending she is a kangaroo in the ferns, but she is a cheeky and sly dog thats for sure with lots of character. The perfect dog for us other than when she rolls in shit! Kim

Pepper is really great, an absolute sweetheart. She has completed our family and life could never be the same without her. Joanne

Oh yes, Dexter & Grace are very happy - I think they love us just a little less than we love them!  Peter

Darcy as had a fab morning so far she has brought me three pairs of socks, a fence post and a dead stoat. she as even had cuddles with the window cleaner!  Michelle

Ozzy is the best thing that's ever happened to us & is settling in very well to his new home. He has recently taken up singing to a squeeze box so I'll upload a vid as soon as I get some decent Internet. Sasha and Jason

Jak is recovering from the effects of stealing 1xboned & BBQ'd leg of lamb with garlic & rosemary, 4 x large mediterean spiced sausages also BBQ'd & 4 x BBQ'd Chicken tika masala breasts on Sunday night -and he was very happy then, now that his stomach & bum seem to have stopped exploding both day & night he's settled back to his usual very happy dog. Just as well we love him xx

Hugo is great! His so affectionate and has come on so well with training! Though he is being neutered on friday!:( were hoping it stops him humping! Lol xx Abby Padget

Casper also very happy and just an awesome dog and a very loved part of our family :D  Jayne Slaney

After rushing out and buying 3 weims in the past, I can honestly say that getting a puppy from Rachel and Darryl was a great experience. We were made to feel very welcomed, and advised about every aspect of owning a weimaraner. The puppy pack and information folder that we received was invaluable, and we still refer to it now.
We thank them so much for Boo, we love her to bits.

We have Diesel a puppy from Brooke and Stanley`s litter June 2009 .Our oldest daughter left home to get married and our other daughter being 20 and not at home much, my husband and I thought we would be lonely! Roger had always had dogs as a child and I`d always had cats but decided we would look silly taking a cat for a walk. After lots of research agreed on a weimaraner and came across Rachel and Darryls web site,I `m sure we crazed Rachel and Darryl`s until we received Diesel. Our daughter always laugh an say we replaced her with a dog but he plays a big part in all our family's lives and can`t ever imagine not having such a lovely pet. The site set up for everyone too share any concerns or problems is just a click of the computer button and someone is there to help and of course R and D a phone call away. Promise you , you will never be bored once you have discovered Silvestre!!!! thanks Rachel and Darryl from Roger , Mandy x

6 months old now and Lola is the most affectionate and intelligent dog we could have ever wished for - not to mention so beautiful.  She's got the most amazing temperament, and just loves everybody and everything she meets - children and animals included!  We will be in touch in a few  years for another Silvestre dog.

Really - every word is true Rachel - she's the most amazing creature, and everyday she makes us smile.  She definitely gives us as much love as we give her - that's the best thing :-)  Can't imagine life without her (even if she did steal the pork chops last week!).

Skye x Stanley puppy.

If you are looking for a Vizsla/Weimeraner puppy and you have found this website, your search is over. We have two vizslas - Izzy and Maya, a year apart after losing our Labrador.  They are highly intelligent, beautiful, loving, protective, comical and fairly vocal.. more like people than dogs. We cannot speak highly enough of our breeder Rachel who is totally dedicated to her dogs and is only a phone call or blog away if any advice is needed. There is no doubt she “produces” the best example of both the breeds. Just so you know, they will steal your hearts!

Beckie and Jon

Dear Rachel & Darryl

Keith and I would like to say a big thank you for giving us our little boy blue. He is a beautiful Viszla full of confidence and keeps us all on our toes. We were very fortunate to stumble upon your website when we were looking for a Viszla puppy to add to our family. We were very impressed with your website, the updates from when Scarlett first fell pregnant to the day we all got our little bundles of joy were brilliant, and even now months later still being able to keep in touch with everyone.

I must admit when you told us that you would pick the puppy we did have reservations, (as we had always chosen our dogs ourselves) but there was no need, as you being an excellent breeder and knowing your dogs so well you picked us a brilliant pup. We couldn’t have done a better job ourselves.

I constantly rave about the excellent breeder I have found and people do not believe the commitment you have for your dogs and pups.

We can’t wait till we get our next Silvestre Pup.

Thanks again

Zena & Keith

Dear Rachel and Darryl,

I am so impressed with you and the support that you give to all your puppy owners and for the care that you take of all your dogs. As novice Vizsla owners, we were able to rely on your knowledge and to know that you wanted the best homes for the puppies, and also it was really important to us that we would have excellent source of help after bringing the puppy home.

You have made the whole process of finding a great puppy a pleasure.  It is so helpful (especially today) to know how the others are getting on and to share with them.  I feel so much better knowing that there is a lot of reliable help available from yourselves, and also from the other puppy owners.

Thank you, I know that with your help we can raise a well mannered healthy and happy dog, and will make new friends too!

I would recommend you to anyone looking for a Vizsla or a Weimaraner, essentially because you care, and this shows itself in everything that you do!

Thanks

Hilary and Mark

Once we had decided on the Weimaraner as the breed of dog we wanted, we looked around for a breeder who was a Kennel Club accredited breeder.  We found Rachel and Darryl’s web site and it looked great, answering so many questions before we’d even contacted them.  When I ‘phoned Rachel she asked many questions to ensure our life-style was right for this demanding and so rewarding breed.

8 months later I collected Dexter and when we wanted a second girl Weimaraner, we knew that Rachel and Darryl were the only breeders that we would consider.  We now have Grace too and both dogs apart from being healthy and beautiful have the most fantastic temperaments.  That is a real credit to the way in which Rachel and Darryl breed their dogs and raise them for their first 7 formative weeks.

They offer a ‘life-time of support’ and through their discussion group you have access to other owners of Silvestre dogs and a great pool of information and advice. If you are considering sharing your life with a Weimaraner or a Hungarian Vizsla and want the very best of breeders, you do not have to look any further!

Just thought I would let you know how Tilly is settling in with us.  She has finally settled into her crate, and now takes herself in there for sleeps during the day.  She still doesn’t like being shut in there, but now only howls for about 15 minutes, and then settles. She slept all night last night for the first time too – am so glad we persevered and ignored her noise at night – has definitely paid off now!  Was very loud though – can’t believe such a tiny little thing can make so much noise!  She seems to have found her appetite now as well, eating every scrap of her meals for the last couple of days.  Have changed her to the Natural Instincts raw food, so I will up the amount I feed her from tomorrow! She has become much more playful over the last week too.  Very boisterous – what was she like with her litter mates?  Am counting down the days now until I can get out and about with her and show her off to everyone.   She is also doing really well with her toileting.  Takes herself off the back door to be let out when she wants to do her business now.  Haven’t had an accident inside the house for 4 days.  She really is beautiful, and we have all fallen desperately in love with her!  We are so glad that we found you, and would not hesitate to recommend Silvestre gundogs to anyone.  Congratulations on the new litter too.  11 puppies will take some beating!  I bet they make some noise!!

Take care,

Justine

Dear Rachel

We would just like to say a huge THANK YOU for our gorgeous little Sennen who is a Chilli and Amber puppy from August 2010. When we were first looking into getting a dog we thought we would just find a breeder and get a puppy and that was that but you make the whole experience so much more personal...in a good way! Your support throughout the whole process is unparallelled; excellent advice by phone, text or website almost 24 hours a day (I even had answers to my silly questions from Rachel whilst she was out having an Indian meal with friends!), together with beautiful dogs with wonderful temperaments all in all makes a great breeder. We now feel very much part of a group of dog lovers with whom we can get tips, advice and friendly chat as well as the opportunity to meet up and visit new places and make new friends. It may sound corny but it's true...with Rachel you get so much more than just a puppy! We are really looking forward to the next meet up and walk and wouldn't hesitate to come to you again Rachel,

Love the Balzano family, Cambridge

As a family we decided to get a dog and did lots of research on all breeds. We then decided that a Weimaraner was for us as we have 3 children and we had heard what lovely family dogs they are and have lots of energy and are just an all round lovely dog. We then had the task of trying to find a breeder and that is when we came across Rachel and Darryl. We new as soon as we went on their website that this was the breeder that we would go to. We then contacted them and had a good conversation about everything you can think of to do with owning one. The thing that we also liked about Rachel and her family is that they really are dedicated breeders who really care about each and every puppy and there older dogs, and so they make sure they go to good homes. We chat regularly to them and other people. We know that we have made some good friends that are there for us in the future for whatever problem may arise. Now we are the proud owner of Darcy (Silvestre Amidala) whom is part of our family.

Karen and Steve Trautman

Sadly we lost our first Weimaraner in September 2007, we desperately wanted another one, so we searched the internet and found Silvestre Weinmaraners we were very impressed with the site so we contacted Rachel for a puppy.
We live in Lancashire so it was a four hour drive to Norfolk, but it didn't matter because we knew we were getting a really healthy and lovely puppy. Rachel is always there to share her expertise and give you great advice, even though we had a weim before Winston I have learnt a lot more about weims since getting a puppy off Rachel.
So thank you Rachel and Daryl for a great dog.
Kath, Glenn and Sarah

As another newbie to the group, it is a fantastic way to keep in contact with other people especially going through the same anxieties of having a new puppy.

Rachel, Thank you for all your help both on the site ref worming, the crate training discussions and also personally when I have called for advise.

I think everyone agrees it is worth its weight in gold to have support and not just be left with a new puppy with no support, it really is appreciated.

To all the other members I can only say it is great to have the network to chat about our pooches and it has been invaluable to us.

Ruth and Simon

Having already had a wonderful Weimaraner who we sadly lost in September 2005, we were desperate to have another, whilst searching the internet for breeders we came across Silvestre’s site, we were so impressed with the quality and help that was given we contacted Rachel regarding a puppy, and in March 2006 our puppy was born, 7 weeks later we took Oban home. Silvestre dogs are brought into a loving and caring environment, and this shows through Rachel’s commitment to her dogs, her continuing support through our forum means there is always someone there to help.  We now own Lorn our Hungarian Vizsla.

I have always loved Weimaraners, have always wanted the breed and after many years decided to go for it. I searched the internet as you do, and found Rachel's website. Immediately I found it more personal than many others , not just for the show world. Rachel was my first contact with a breeder and she was extremely helpful in answering all my questions which I had researched long and hard. I was invited onto the Silvestre chat site to get as much info as possible from Rachel and owners of her puppies, before I committed to a puppy of my own. This was great. At the time she had a long waiting list but put me in contact with a breeder who's bitch was having a litter to Woody. That is how I came about Hieke my oldest bitch now 3. She is a wonderful dog. I always wanted 2 dogs and eventually I was lucky enough to get Nell a Woody / Reilly baby 18 months later. She is from the Star Trek themed little my little Silvestre final frontier. I don't know of any one who has dealt with any breeder who has given as much support as Rachel and Darryl. I have had 100% support from Rachel.  The flicker chat site is fantastic at helping with problems , sharing experiences, laughs, traumas and photos , yes we love our pictures. Everyone is friendly , you are never made to feel inadequate no matter how stupid a question may be . There always seems to be someone around to share with. I feel that I have made lots of friends, most of whom I haven't yet met, but Rachel and Darryl's Weimie reunion days can put remedy to that. I would love another puppy at some point Weimaraner or Vizla , and if I do I know who I will be pestering. Nell is a wonderful dog, very placid in nature, and extremely loving, obedient and an absolute star.  We love her and Heike very much.

Lesley, Nell and Hieke

Having both grown up with dogs we both knew that as soon as we moved out of our family homes it no our own that we wanted our own dog.  Therefore, before we even had our keys to our new place we were on Rachel's waiting list for Flint!  The only breed we could both agree on was a Weimaraner, so after posting a general enquiry on a site Rachel contacted us first by email asking why we wanted a Weimaraner and then by phone to make sure we really knew what we were letting ourselves in for!
I remember feeling quite overwhelmed after our phone conversation and had to wonder for a while whether we were buying a puppy or adopting a child from the amount of questions Rachel asked.  We are so happy that she did now, though as it meant we were totally prepared for what we were taking on and that it was as big a responsibility as having a baby!

We were able to go and visit the puppies when they were a few weeks old but at this point didn’t know which we would be having as their personalities were yet to develop which is when Rachel would allocate who would have who.  We were both so nervous before this visit hoping that Rachel would approve us as suitable parents for one of her babies!  It was lovely to meet everyone beforehand though and see that the puppies were being well cared for by a breeder that was obviously devoted to them.

Having told Rachel that we were really only after a pet as we weren’t planning to work or show the dog three weeks later we collected Flint.  He is now nearly four but still our baby.  With a lot of training and the constant back up of the Silvestre site and group we have a dog that has brought us so much fun and love and also a lot of new friends.

My name is Simon and together with my partner Claire we have Lottie (Silvestre Black Pearl) who we brought home in August 2007.   With any luck you will be reading because you are thinking of getting a Weimaraner, even better would be that you have already DECIDED to get a puppy and now just need convincing as to why you should opt for a Silvestre dog.   That was the position we found ourselves in almost a year ago when I stumbled across Rachels’ web site (I say stumbled but that isn’t strictly true as I must have visited just about every website out there) yet this one was the site I kept on coming back too.    So why are we glad we went for a Silvestre pup, well we loved the way that Rachel and Darryl consider their all their dogs as part of the family and coupled with the sheer care and devotion they put into each and every pup practically guarantees you’ll go home with a beautiful, well balanced pup, the only promise they ever made.   They also maintain a similar degree of care and attention to all their owners, upon your pup’s arrival you’ll find yourself welcomed into the Silvestre family and along with all the advice and help provided by Rachel there is also the support available from participating in the Silvestre owners’ web group she administers.  Our only real reservation came from the fact that we wouldn’t be able to go up and choose our own puppy.  At the time this seemed very much at odds with other breeders practice however the reasoning soon became clear.  You see Rachel takes the time to understand your needs (Working/Show dog, good with children etc) and then relies on her experience to best match each pup with their new owners.   Simply put I really cannot imagine that we could have be any better prepared for the arrival of our very own silver whirlwind!!!!

Simon, Claire and Lottie 2007

To Rachel and Darryl

I just wanted to say a big thank you for our gorgeous boy Toby (Silvestre Tell me More). What a joy, our lives will never be the same again!
You do an amazing job in breeding and raising these beautiful pups and preparing them for what life has to offer in their new homes. Your love and dedication to the wellbeing of your beloved breeds is obvious for all to see.
The support network of help and advice is an invaluable lifeline and a great piece of mind for first time owners and very addictive!
So thank you once again for our amazing boy. He has grown into a stunning young man with a beautiful nature and has become my constant shadow. I am so proud to have him in our lives.

Karen, Allan and family

When my partner and I had decided we wanted another dog and we had decided on this breed we did a lot of research. We also decided that the best way to find a breeder would be to contact the Weimaraner Association and ask them for advice. We were recommended two breeders. Silvestre Weimaraners being one of them. We then visited Rachel's site and straight away we loved what we saw. The site was so informative and answered so many questions we had straight away. This was all we needed to confirm who we wanted a puppy from.

After contacting Rachel and being vetted we went straight on to her waiting list, waiting about 9 months for our silver bundle of mischief. The wait was well worth it, we knew we were getting an excellently bred puppy from a breeder who actually cared about what they were doing. Rachel's main concern is her puppies and dogs welfare and what is best for them. Guaranteeing that her silver babies only go to those who will love and cherish them for life.

Rachel put up with a lot of pestering from us whilst we were waiting for Rupert! She was extremely patient, friendly and honest with us. The support you get with Rachel is excellent. The online group also enables you to chat with all Silvestre dog/puppy owners. This gives you excellent support and advice when you need it most, you are not on your own!

We would recommend Silvestre Weimaraners to anyone who was looking for a puppy, One thing is definite, they make excellent family pets.   Knowing your dog has been socialised and living in the family home from with already used to all the sights and sounds of your home makes it so much easier. They have had love and cuddles from the start and this is so obvious in the puppies. They love your company and are so affectionate.

We had excellent puppy updates, info and pictures as Rupert was growing as a tiny pup. We also had wonderful advice when we went to collect Rupert.

The support and advice doesn't just stop once you have your puppy. There is a lifetime of support from Silvestre and the Silvestre Group. We are so pleased with the entire experience of getting our new puppy. Rupert is now 9 months old, and is a truly magnificent dog. We honestly feel proud and honoured to have a dog from Silvestre Weimaraners.

Where else could we go for our Pedigree British Short hair kitten but back to Rachel for our Blue.

I just want to start by saying a big thank you to Rachel and Darryl as we have been one of the extremely lucky few to be blessed with a Silvestre Weimaraner, our beautiful Maisie.  She is the perfect addition to our family and her qualities, she is brilliant with our children.  Her looks and behaviour is wonderful.  We waited a long time to get our Maisie as we knew that we only wanted a dog from Rachel and Darryl.  After meeting them both and their dogs, we knew the wait would be very worth it, as it has proved.  Maisie is such a lovely behaved dog, happy and healthy.  The help we have received both before and after getting Maisie from Rachel was unreplaceable and so forth coming.  Rachel and Darryl treat every dog they have placed like it is still their own, with the welfare of their dogs obviously being of the utmost importance to them both.

I would recommend that is anybody was seriously considering a Weimaraner then Rachel and Darryl's dogs are unbeatable and worth their weight in gold.  Our Maisie is the dog we always hoped for and this is evidenced by the amount of people who stop us in the park, street, and woods to say how beautiful she is.

Thanks Again Rachel and Darryl

We would like to say that Josh is a brilliant dog.  He has a fantastic temperament, very loving, intelligent and strong willed.  He is and has always been very strong and free of illness.... in fact he's the most robust dog we have ever had.  Also Rachel you have given us brilliant back up.  You have answered questions and let us know what to expect from owning a Weimaraner.  It is definitely different owning one but is worthwhile and lots of fun.

Gary Miller

We are lucky enough to own a Silvestre Weimaraner called Dillon.  He is 7 years old and he is a pleasure to own.  He was a mischievous puppy (aren't they all though!) and has grown into a superb dog.

I do believe that you get what you put into a dog.  I have trained (and re-trained!) Dillon, I care for his needs and he is well looked after (probably too well!!!!).

But I also believe that with a Silvestre Weimaraner puppy, you get a perfect blank canvas.  Dillon is healthy, handsome, good natured and a perfect example of the breed (not that I am biased!).

Rachel and Daryl produce puppies that are carefully planned.  The puppies are then handled and treated as one of the family until they are ready to go to their new homes.  This means the pups are healthy, confident and well balanced.  What you do with your pup next is up to you, but with careful training and lots of patience, you can have a perfect dog like mine!

Rachel produces puppy packs that are second to none.  They have all sorts of information and tips to follow.  Rachel also runs a forum for Silvestre dog owners where questions can be answered by other Silvestre dog owners.

I would not hesitate to recommend Silvestre to anyone wanting  a Weimaraner, who was willing to put in the time and effort involved in owning one.

  Kate Kilby

Well, what can I say about Silvestre Weimaraners, and of course my beautiful dog Jazz ?
Quite simply it was the best decision we could of possibly have made!  Not only because Jazz is a fantastic, placid, well behaved and stunning dog, but also because of the on going support and advice that we receive from Rachel and Darryl and all the members of the "Silver dog group".

We have never owned our own dog before and couldn't have managed with out all the information we have received both before Jazz's arrival, with in the puppy pack.  After we collected her we were given regular help by e-mail and via the Silver dog group.

I would recommend anyone interested in buying a puppy to look no further, you will never find a better breeder, better dogs or support network.  We waited for over 18 months to get a puppy from Rachel and it was well worth it.  Jazz is everything we wanted and much, much more....

Kay and Steve Davenport

One evening, Keith and I were watching Location, Location....and instead of being in awe of some of the houses they were viewing....we were transfixed by a silver coloured dog with the most beautiful big floppy ears we had ever seen.  We didn't know what breed it was then, so we searched on the laptop for dog breeds...and there it was in all its splendour...a Weimaraner !!!!  At this point we couldn't even pronounce it !   We then searched for breeders....and came across the Silvestre weimaraners site.   And what a fantastic site...so informative.  What ever question came up in our head....the answer was on this site...This was about 8pm at night but I couldn't wait to give Rachel and Darryl a call.     Im not sure who asked the most questions....me or Rachel...but what it did was make me realise how much she cared for these dogs...and that she wouldn't let one of them go to just anyone ! We didn't even look at another breeder.  In fact, when Rachel let us know that we could have our beloved Beau....we felt very priviliged.

We travelled up to meet Rachel, Darryl and the weimys before Beau was even conceived...we met Stanley, Woody, Alley and Darcy (Beaus mum)....again ...lots of questions from both sides.   We had decided we would name a little silver bundle of fun Beau....not realising that his dads name was Beau too.  Rachel kept us informed of Darcy's pregnancy, pictures of the birth...It felt like we were going through an actual pregnancy our selves !

The day came for our visit at 5 weeks.......I was up earlier than I had ever been in my life...the excitement felt like all my christmas's all put together.  We live in Birmingham and the drive was about 3 1/2 hours, but we didnt mind how far we had to go.   When Rachel put Beau in my arms.....I just fell in love.   Beau will be 2 in April, and we can honestly say, he is the love of our lives....I have had dogs before...but nothing will ever compare to my beautiful Beau....He loves unconditionally, he follows us like a shadow...even waiting by the shower for me to step out so he can try and lick my legs dry !!!!   He is friendly to everyone and everything he meets.  Everywhere we go....we have people stop us so they can compliment on how beautifully pale he is and handsome, they also ask where we got him.

We would never, ever think of owning a different breed of dog now.  These weimys get under your skin and stay there. Rachel is a breeder in a million and a friend too, and through her and the flickr site...we have made so many more friends, all weimy and vizla mad....which suits us down to the ground. !! We send in photos....themed quite often for extra fun ie;;;   easter or xmas..   And we get advice and support from one another.

We also get to meet once or twice a year on a Silvestre day out......so just imagine....16 or more weimys hitting your town for a day out.....its a beautiful sight to behold and such a fun day we all look forward to.

When me and Kay first decided we wanted a dog we were not quite sure what sort we wanted and with our family always having spaniels we wanted something different but something that was going to be a fabulous outstanding dog that would be perfect for us, a dog that's energetic and great with other dogs and children. We started researching into which dogs we liked the look of and which ones would suit our lifestyle as we didn't want a dog just to sit around the house and sleep. We ended up choosing a Weimaraner, so we started to look for breeders and instantly when we looked at Silvestre website everything seemed to fall into place and immediately we new we had found our perfect addition to the family, from the first phone call to Darryl .

As we lived in Cumbria, Norfolk was along way to go but we were willing to travel to find our pride and joy

Rachel kept us informed constantly about our pup and posted pictures so we could see how he was doing, followed by the puppy pack which came through the door now known as the (Wally bible) and everything we had a question about was answered in the pack, but if it was something different we needed to ask about as us first time owners have lots of possibly strange questions they were answered on an online forum specially set up for Weimaraner owners so the support we were getting before our pup was home was second to none. With this support it gave us time for all preparations that needed to be made for when our pup was ready to be collected.

Then from the day we collected our pup (Wally) Rachel again prepared our pup for its long journey home and he was perfect all the way home and from that point we new we had made the right choice to get a Silvestre weimaraner. Wally is now 12 weeks old and we get constant support via the online forum from Rachel and other owners and he is amazing such a happy affectionate pup and so healthy he has been introduced to other dogs and immediately bonded and had no issues what so ever,  he is absolutely superb with children,  he is so intelligent and responsive to what you say and do with him and we are happy to say we have the perfect dog and he is a fantastic addition to our life. All of this has come from the way Rachel and her family have brought these fabulous silver bundles into this world to the time they are released to there new homes. So just a big thank you Rachel Darryl and family for our Wally pup and we can highly recommend them as outstanding breeders especially to first time owners because of the support given.

Hi Rachel,

Just wanted to say thank you for everything that you have done for us from the beginning, when our pup was just a dream in Scarlett's tummy to reality, a little pup of our own!  After doing all our research on buying a Vizsla puppy we were fortunate enough to have come across your fantastic website, which is so informative and by far the most professional of all breeder websites I have looked into.  This was the start of us meeting yourself and your lovely dogs, especially Scarlett.  We fell in love with Scarlett, as she is such a beautiful and fantastic dog.  Meeting yourself and seeing the great environment that your dogs live in reassured us that we were getting quality, and that our puppy would have the best start in life. So thank you for that!

I also love the way you stay in touch with those fortunate enough to be waiting for one of your puppies- it is so reassuring and makes it even more exciting, being able to share our thoughts, concerns and questions, even before we get our little bundle of joy!

kind regards

Amoreena White

We are the very proud owners of two fabulous Silvestre Weimaraners. We have Zak who is three and Kyla who is one. They are both very sociable dogs with gorgeous temperaments and they live happily with us, our two kids and four cats!

Both our dogs are extremely good looking and we are constantly being stopped when out in public by people who compliment us on how beautiful they are as well as how well behaved they are.

When we were first looking for a breeder we were extremely impressed with Rachel's website, and even more impressed when we first made contact. Rachel is very professional, she vets her puppy buyers thoroughly to ensure appropriate placements, she is very honest and supportive, the information and aftercare provided is exceptional and ongoing. We still contact Rachel or other Silvestre owners via the group site to ask for advice when needed.

Anyone considering having a Weimaraner puppy should think long and hard, it is a huge commitment and a lot of hard work.

However if it is something you are serious about then it would be hard to find a breeder who breeds such fabulous dogs and who offers long term, genuine support with all aspects of dog ownership, than Rachel and her Silvestre Weimaraners.

Anyone considering a weimaraner should look no further than a Silvestre dog. We had one off Rachel whom we named Jem, then wanted another a couple of years later, so straight back to Rachel for us. Stunning looks, healthy, fantastic temperament, just beautiful and oh so loving. One of the family. We wanted great family dogs and that is what we got.

Jem is nearly 2 and since she came into our home she has been nothing but a joy. Great with our four children and with anyone else she meets. She is always happy and never stops smiling! Sid is very much a boy and he compliments Jem in every way.

Oh and what a fantastic support group Rachel manages for her owners. Always available with advice and support. Great job.

Thank You

Hi I am Helen, a proud new Vizsla owner.  When I contacted Rachel for a puppy I was very lucky she had one for me due to a timewaster.  The method of one being picked for me was unusual to me, but turned out to be a good one as Rachel is an experienced breeder and could analyze the pups temperament and pick one to suit our needs.  This has proved a valuable practice as we now have a pup who will sit, not grab food, and most importantly not take it from small children's hands.  The lifetime support network on-line is such a fantastic thing too with advice or just to see pictures and keep in touch with all the other owners.

Hi Rachel
My 1st Weim I owned for 12 years, sadly I had to have her put to sleep due to her heart condition.
Once you have had 1 Weim you just cant live without one, after doing some research on breeders I came across Rachel's web site I really liked what I saw, Rachel puts allot of thought into breeding these fantastic dogs., I gave Rachel a call and we had a chat about putting our Name down for a puppy, I had to wait a while but Merlin was well worth the wait, he is a fantastic dog, Funny, intelligent, very handsome, affectionate, obedient (most of the time..) and he has a temperament to die for.
We had our 1st baby this year when Merlin was 10 months old, I was a little worried on how he would be as he has been our baby from day one, but we needn't have worried as he loves Jessica to bits, we walks perfectly with the pushchair and sits by her on guard all the time, especially if she is throwing food around..  Thanks you Rachel for Picking Merlin for us, he is a perfect family pet.

When we were looking for a Weimaraner it was very difficult to find a good breeder, we stumbled across Silvestre web site and found a lot more information about Weimaraners. This prompted us to call, after speaking to Rachel we soon found out we were asked as many questions as we wanted to ask, leading us to believe this breeder is very concerned about where the dogs are going to live. Also when we went to see the dogs we could see they were all looked after in a very clean environment which was also a good sign. Then we found out that there was another important issue, that the breeder would have first refusal on any dog being re-homed or would help to re-home the dog, if in the sad event this would happen. Also we then found out the best thing of all is the after sales back up from the breeder regarding anything from health, behaviour or just a listening ear regarding any problems relating to our Weimaraner, which still continues today and anytime in the future, which is a priceless backup. When we are walking our dog we always have good comments on his looks and his temperament which all Silvestre dogs seem to have.

I have owned now 3 Weimaraners, and my second Weimaraner I chose because he was the one that came up to me and plonked himself on my lap, and proceeded to chew my jumper.  When he came home he was very dominant, aggressive with other dogs and cleared off at any given opportunity.  So when we decided to choose another puppy we wanted a dog that would be much easier than our second.  I found Silvestre Weimaraners and I had a chat with Rachel, we came and saw her and she told us that she would choose a puppy for us.  When you chose our puppy Rachel you did the right thing because Hektor suits our lifestyle and suits us.  He was such an easy puppy and now turning into a superb adult dog.  Very confident, very friendly.  He even sat outside with me wagging his tail at the fireworks next door Saturday night.  He is not bothered by anything, just takes everything in his stride, and that has to be down to the breeding and socializing that you give the pups.

We always get comments from people, especially the vet, saying how calm he is and how handsome he is. We can't praise you enough Rachel, having had three Weims from three different breeders I think I'm qualified enough to know that your pups seem to be some of the best.

Keep up the good work, cause we'll be back for another one before long.

Dear Rachel I wanted to drop you a note to thank you for your generous gesture of giving woody to us.  We were heartbroken  after loosing our first weimaraner but woody quickly filled that "Big Space" that dogs occupy.  He is a super dog and we are very happy with him.  As you gave him to us free of charge we made a donation to the Weimaraner rescue home - keeps the balance!  We will always be in touch

Dear Rachel, Just wanted to let you know that Nyla has settled in really well. We are all besotted with her and she is already one of the family.  She is confident but the cats are showing her who is boss.  Your support and advice have been invaluable.  I have found the puppy pack useful and have followed your suggestions for the barf diet which seems to suit her well and we have had no upset tummies so far.  The group is a great idea and it has been helpful to get such quick answers to all the questions I have - wish their was something like this when I had a baby. Look forward to staying in touch and thank you for our wonderful puppy.

Best Wishes Karen and Nyla.

Hello Rachel, Would just like to drop you a line to say how very helpful and informative I have found your puppy pack and all advice given to me by yourself over the phone. Nothing it seems is ever too much trouble how ever silly you may think the question sounds.  Thanks for your time and patience

Dear Rachel,  Just a little note to thank you for your continued support.  It often astounds me just how quickly you seem to respond to our quieries and how thorough and helpful your responses are.  Your chat group has not only been a great source of reference over the last few months but also very socialable.  We would be lost with out it- its a real life line. I  love seeing all the photos and hearing about all the antics of Wispa's distant relatives.  Wispa continues to thrive  and is doing well with her puppy training.  She still pulls on the lead, but I guess no dog is perfect!.

Best wishes Cath Monday

Hi Rachel
Everything is going just great with Chester.
Ive attached a few photos of him from when we first bought him home 6 weeks ago to present.
I could go on about him for ever as he is such a great puppy but I will try to keep it brief.
Would like to say a big thank for breeding such a handsome chap !!

After just 6 weeks Chester is the love our lives .
He is a handsome cheeky chappie who is full of character and always on the look out for
mischief, there is never a dull moment when he is up and about.
He has taken to his crate like a duck to water but loves nothing better than to curl up on our laps.
When it comes to food what more can I say than-he loves it and there is nothing he wont do for a treat!!
To sum him up he is an intelligent, happy, handsome, full of beans puppy who is a credit to you as a breeder.
Many thanks for him.
