Viva
came to us from the Gunalt Kennels in Yorkshire
owned by Stephen and Patsy Hollings and they are
the top breeders of Weimaraners in the United
Kingdom.
Viva
came to us to be a new introduction to our
breeding program here. A new line because
we know that it is important to keep breeding
dogs which are not closely related. Through Viva
we now have a boy dog River
who is completely
out crossed to our other dogs here.
Viva
is a show dog, and she has been shown lightly so
far, but she has had good results from puppy to
now. I hope to get her out again soon.
She had this year off for having her first
litter of puppies. She has gone back
fantastic and their are a few judges I would
like to put her under in 2012.
Viva
is a very kind dog, very easy going and is good
going out mixing with other dogs and people.
She is a happy go lucky kind of dog and does not
need us for company and will take herself off
and just entertain her self. Which is great as
some Weimaraners are extra clingy. Viva
just gets on with life. Is content. Viva
produced some very nice puppies in her first
litter, and we are going to breed her again in
2012 to our own dog Stanley to see what they
product.
Viva
swims well, and she is now retrieving well for
me. She is not a born gundog as some of
our dogs are. She would rather be asleep
in front of my log burner.
Viva
is a medium sized Weimaraner and she constructed
very nicely. Since having her puppies its
just finished off her construction perfectly and
she now has a fore chest and her chest has
broadened. I am booking her for a
show for 2012.
Viva
has those beautiful Weimaraner silky ears that
you want to touch all the time, like silk her
ears. She is toned in body and fit.
She is a very healthy Weimaraner and we have
never had a days illness touch wood. She
has a lovely eye shape and colour, and is a
silver grey in colour.
